BEIRUT, LEBANON — In a major step toward integrating advanced technology into higher education, the Office of AI Transformation (OAIT) at Global University recently hosted an intensive, three-hour masterclass titled “AI for Educators.” The session, delivered by Mr. Nabil Mneymneh, PhD(c), Director of the Office of AI Transformation, was designed specifically for the university’s faculty to equip them with the practical skills needed to navigate and leverage artificial intelligence in the modern academic landscape.

The comprehensive webinar broke down the complexities of artificial intelligence into four actionable pillars:

• AI Chatbots: Understanding and utilizing large language models for academic research, lesson planning, and student engagement.
• AI Agents: Exploring autonomous systems that can assist educators with administrative tasks and workflow automation.
• AI Skills: Developing the essential competencies—such as prompt engineering and critical evaluation—required for educators in the AI era.
• Experimental AI Features: A forward-looking deep dive into the latest, cutting-edge AI tools and how they might reshape the future classroom.

Mr. Nabil Mneymneh, PhD(c), Director of the Office of AI Transformation, led the session. Drawing on his extensive background in educational technology and curriculum design, Mr. Mneymneh provided faculty with not just theoretical knowledge, but practical frameworks that can be immediately applied to their teaching and research methodologies.
