Global University Collaborates with Rafic Hariri University Hospital for a Food Poisoning Awareness Day

The Nutrition and Dietetics students from Global University organized an awareness day on food poisoning prevention, in collaboration with the Nutrition and Dietetics team at Rafic Hariri University Hospital (RHUH).
 
The event was held on the hospital premises and attended by Global University instructors, along with medical and administrative staff from RHUH.
 
This interactive awareness activity aimed to educate visitors on how to prevent foodborne illnesses and ensure safe food handling practices at home.
 
Specialists provided practical advice on proper food storage and offered guidelines for managing symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting resulting from food poisoning.
 
Pediatricians also participated by raising parents’ awareness of the warning signs that require immediate medical attention or an emergency visit.
 
Visitors benefited from free medical consultations and personalized preventive counseling throughout the day.
