Lifesaving Skills for Young Heroes is a five-day summer camp at Global University’s Faculty of Health Sciences. Designed for grades 8–11, it equips teens with practical first-aid techniques and basic disaster-survival skills through lectures, mock scenarios, and hands-on simulations that build confidence, teamwork, and community leadership.
Day 1 – First Aid Basics & Scene Safety
Bleeding control; bandaging; electrical-shock mock drill
Day 2 – Life-Threatening Emergencies I
CPR practice; recovery position; choking response; allergy management
Day 3 – Life-Threatening Emergencies II
Burn care; poisoning response; bites & stings first aid; eye-injury protocols
Day 4 – Disaster Survival
Fire-extinguisher training; earthquake preparedness; flood & storm safety; evacuation drills
Day 5 –Injury & Mental First Aid
Sports-injury assessment; trauma simulation; psychological first aid; certificate ceremony
Interactive drills and simulations in CPR, bleeding control, burn care, and disaster-survival scenarios—led by physicians, pediatricians, psychologists, civil-defense specialists, and nurses.
All necessary first-aid supplies for on-campus exercises, plus a take-home emergency kit featuring the same equipment used during the camp.
Official recognition awarded at the end of the camp to celebrate each participant’s mastery of foundational life-saving and disaster-response skills.
