MIS is a renewed program designed to prepare the graduate with the tools and skills required for the new Global market. This major blends management with technology to come up with an integrated discipline that serves to utilize technology and advanced modeling to solve complex business problems and optimize utilization of resources. MIS serves to cater for two types of jobs. The first is IT related, as the MIS graduate will be able to manage technology teams and coordinate the relationship with third party vendors, subcontractors, clients and internal management. Our MIS graduate will succeed as an integrator, a skill so scarce and highly demanded. Secondly, not only will he be able to manage operations, but also to optimize them, thus generating more profits and guaranteeing a higher level of efficiency via implementing complex decision support systems.
