Organisation ETAG
ETAG
consisted in the beginning of 2005 of a Board. The Board:

Since the Antalya conference
the concept of the organization of the ETAG group has
changed into a focusgroup and a soundboard group. Memebers
of the focusgroup are no longer individuals but their
organisations.

22th the focusgroup consists of:

Two
universities are in the decision process of joining:
1.
University of Macedonia (GR);
2.
Chalmers (Sweden)
2.
Mission
The ETAG
aims at enhancing the quality movement by co-creating
integral excellence thinking.
3.
Starting
point for the activities
Body of
Knowledge (BoK): co-creation of the integral excellence
movement.
Mike
Pupius and Everard van Kemenade from the ETAG Board have
taken the lead in writing an article on this as a Body of
Knowledge for the work in the working groups. Besides that
they produced several PPT-presentations on the issue. The
aim is to put the material on the EOQ web site before the
end of 2005.
Furthermore it has been decided to add practical tools to
the web site.
4.
Focus
Group
The first
meeting of the Focusgroup will be in spring 2006.
5.
Way of
working
We work in
small groups mostly at writing the BoK.
6.
Activities
A
successful pre-conference was held at Antalya. Where the
theme was Accreditation and Quality: friends or enemies.
Some forty
participants enjoyed plenary presentations by Bo Bergman,
Franklin Shargell and Shoji Shiba.
7.
Time
schedule
The time
schedule for the next period autumn 2005 and spring 2006
will look like:
-
Establishment of the web site before January
1st 2006;
-
A meeting with the members of the focusgroup
in spring 2006;

A pre conference preceeding the 50th
Annual EOQconference on:
Quality:
the human factor. (June 1st)

Adding to the Body of Knowledge: constantly.
