Launching of ETAG new website

The ETAG community and Beirut-based web design and development unit of Global University, is pleased to announce the launch of ETAG new website today, delivered using a robust content management system.

The new site contains information on all ETAG activities, partners and, most important, the ETAG BoK. Content is kept up-to-date by ETAG officers, using the easy-to- use web-based content management system.

Working closely with the ETAG community, Global University staff were attentive to successfully conform to accessibility standards to ensure browser compatibility and ease of navigation.

Everard Van Kemenade, Chairman of ETAG, comments: “We hope you find the new website both easier to navigate and more aesthetically pleasing. We look forward to improving the site further over the coming weeks as we work to bring a fresh face to the ETAG web presence.”

Ziad El Maamoun, Quality Manager at Global University, comments, “We are really proud to join efforts with the Education and Training Activities Group of the European Organization for Quality. This new website is designed to be a tools to facilitate communication with and among the community members who strive to propagate the adoption and implementation of high standards and quality management into the world of education and higher education.”

 

 Preparation of the next Education Conference Autumn 2006

As part of the 2006 activities, ETAG will be holding a one day education conference with the following objectives:

 

1.      exchange experiences about the human factor of QM

Or “How do people get motivated for QM?”

2.      discuss possible solutions for possible problems

 

A theme and draft program for this event has been chosen: The Human factor.

The Dutch NNK and its Committee for education has decided to co-organize the event during Autumn 2006 after the 50th EOQ congress in Antwerp, Belgium.

signed a collaboration agreement with ETAG

Since the Antalya conference the concept of the organization of the ETAG group has changed into a focusgroup and a soundboard group. Members of the focusgroup are no longer individuals but their organizations.
